Guys honestly this Album is special to me coz it is happening in Malaysia.

PUTHIYA MANITHA

The first bit itself suggest us that we gonna listen something futuristic. ARR and SPB duo nice to hear perfect blend. Rahman not only tried the above duo but also introduced her princess Khatija and she sound sooo promising. wanna listen a love bit from her soon. Vairamuthu's lyric sound classical not so perfect word for the beat. Rahman has created a global beat for a local flavored word. Vairamuthu not a perfect choice here.

KADHAL ANUKAL

Music start with a 80's feel in it, Vijay's voice will give justice to rajinikant honestly and been a while we hear something youthful and beautiful for rajinikant like this one. The song definitely raised the question who is sexier vijay or shreya??? Rahman has tried something out of usual rajinikant treat as this song definitely will be uttered by youngsters a lot. Guitars done wonders here.

IRUMBILE ORU ITHAYAM

Lady kash N Krish start the song on her way singing bringing an pop feeling to this number the our BOSS ARR enters to join her as well. The songs has created based on techno concept and ARR 's voice suits perfect to this genre he should try more techno in future last we hear him in such number from Ayutha Ezhuthu faana.

CHITTHI DANCE SHOWCASE

NICE!!!!!! one word hahaha guys this after soooo long ARR in a dance beat purelly dance beat with misture of genre's here if u are music lover u cant resist this number. Pravin mani after a decent gap returning with a bang!!!! ohhh loud enufff guys. Mysterious bit 2.11 of the song make me wordless. ARR just gave a relief to us who were missing awesome music from him for years by this track. I never knew YOGI B can be this mysterious.

ARIMA ARIMA

Hariharan and sandhana sargam unites here. This romantic duet successful duo here tried something else that they never done in pair before. A striking number with some motivating word. We have heard something like this from ARR before the music(genre) now is different can I say soft rock is the core here. A loud number with heavy chorus at place and trumpets used to give a dynasty feeling dunno why maybe will be justified in the visual later.

KILIMANJARO

Javed and Chinmaye will be the favorite couple in this album. This song is duet with some naughty feeling in it. Heavy bass is nice. Comparing his love some great old empires is new treat though. Then he even compare his love with vege and fruit here funny lol.Intro this song to kid they'l sure love it i guess even the visual will be a treat for kids.

BOOM ROBO DA

Yogi excel here. heavy hip hop beat and some nice interludes from ARR give a new feel here. Sax bit is nice followed the rap by yogi suggest this is a background score for the ROBOT. Swetha Mohan remind us of sujatha cozzz she is her baby hahahaha mom and daughter having same voice kudoz, ways to go sweta.Bit Auto Karren remind us of B_SH-H ???? MUST HEAR from the album

Guys 1st of all i dunno telugu so this is purelly gonna be from music point of view only.

POWER STAR
This is seriouslly the power star of the album I feel like im in concert when listening to it. Vijay and Tanvi is seriouslly to be watched at least for the next two years they did justice to rahman's beat. This is a beat rich song which less instruments takes place. The words like RDS, Alchohol suggests this is not a love song ( sorry if I were wrong ). An arabic interludes by tanvi gives a new feel to this song never listened something like this before.

AMMA THALE
This song is belongs naresh he excels in this. Last time we hear naresh in something similiar was from Ah Aah(tamil) also by SJ SURYAH. Opera and nadaswaram blends perfect. Sweta Mohan is star to watch,this girls justify the song. Her renderin method is different from naresh's method but this is a beautiful duet. The background chorus of guys saying hey,hey,hey when sweta sings gives a joyful mood to this song. Amma Thale is been repeated by naresh quite a number time throught out this song wonder what's that means.The portion where naresh say na, na, na, na, na and followed by a opera like music is awesome.Towards the ends of song naresh excels in a carnatics note fuyoo classy.

MAARALENTE
The 1st portion of the song itself give us the idea that this is a patriotic number. ARR at his usual treat for patriotic.The KMMC chorus is certainly rising the value of this number both in classical western way and conservative way. Bits from veena can been heard but very small bit and you gotta be sharp to recognize this. I can samathanam then nethaji and gandhi ji suggesting peace and harmony I guess. Anyhow nice feeling i'm having after listening to this (MOTIVATED)

NAMAKAME
The trio Chritra,Harini and Madhusree united here for an unplugged type song. The mood set to sad but the song travels to a better feel later thanks to guitars and pionos. Very classical bit not my type. The bit from harmonica is quite inteligent though. Again the songs mood saved by tabla and some strings. ARR did a decent job but nothing great here.

DOCHEY
This song reminds of the maesto's Slumdog Millionaire. Nice adaption from the song new feel same beat as original. teh bit make the bad guys cry suggest this is a background song for pawan hahaha let see how he justify that.Shreya has given something that we never expect from her sexy though with companion by lady kash and krissy. what shall I classify the song hip hop, melody I dunno ARR let me in wonderland thru this song.

MAHAM MAYE
Impressive start this number has. Javed at his usual sway renderin method, Suchitra sexy as usual, nice blend of complicated instruments and then followed by excellent violin composition proves ARR is always king of music. At times through out this song I find suchitra sounds like a younger girl sings it.

Komaram Puli is ARR as usual great piece.

Rahman from my point of view

Rahman has been around for at least close to two decades now.Almost all tamil or I can even say indians are affected by this sickness called rahmaniac. Looking at it from a wider point of view being an NRI from KL of which me exposed to various music styles and ideas across the globe still I find rahman's music stands a part. Here's what consider may be the reasons behind this opinion of me.

Rahman's best till date is not definitely slumdog millionaire but sick he only got an oscar for that ( language barrier i guess. rahman's believe that music has no language is broken here )This mean lucky me to know tamil that i can enjoy songs that other's can't

Rahman as a music director has compatitor i can easily say even in tamil music industry we have ilayaraja, yuvan, kartick raja and some other music directors who can definately give hard time to rahman in term of composition. But he himself as a human being has no competitor, facts like KMMC, ARR Foundation is prove to this. How many people we know can speaks politelly to everyone and always praise lord for every achievement. He is a man who believe in god and good deed. He believes in love and not hate. He has meet the greatest failure one can have where his first album goes super duper FLOP to add the wound it's spiritual one. A man who practice his religion very seriouslly and being paid this way would definately get demotivated very easily but this calm man has just overcame with ease thanks to his wellwishers.

His music quality (i'm not referin his music making style) im actually referin the technology he using to record his tunes and composition. Panchatan studio inn is claimed as the best one in asia and I have to agree with it. Just look at his album ROJA 1992 we can see how a music director can use tech to give listeners a new experiance. For example his kadhal rojave song u can only hear the air sound from flute and not the flute sound.

His versatlity to compose music which has classical feel but blends with modern instruments such as guitars and bass. For instance I can refer his composition form partaley paravasam the lawrence dance musics is definatelly a gem on this king's music crown.

Above are some the qualities I find in him which I admire a lot.
